Job description

Havtech Supply is seeking an experienced Director of Supply Sales to join our team. This role will focus on leading a team of Distribution Account Managers to drive sales growth and further develop the outside sales division of our distribution business.

Our team has deep product knowledge on every item in our more than 90,000 square feet of warehouse space at multiple locations to ensure our customers get the right fit for their job.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other functions may be assigned.

· Deliver business results by improving the performance of the team in overall sales and gross profit generation. Develop annual Distribution sales business plan to drive revenue and increase market share. Assess market potential and identify opportunities for new business and increased penetration in target markets.

· Mentor and coach Distribution Account Managers to capitalize on sales opportunities and maximize share of customer spend. Assess current team processes and procedures, identify opportunities for improvement, coach, mentor, and provide feedback to sales team.

· Work with sales team to increase personal effectiveness to both develop new customers and maximize existing clientele share-of-wallet.

· Drive knowledge on Havtech product offerings and coach sales team on technical sales skills so that Account Managers can enthusiastically and capably demonstrate, discuss, and select solutions with customers.

· Develop and maintain key customer relationships. Actively engage in key and strategic projects. Remedy escalated customer issues. Implement strategies to expand the company’s customer base.

· Track and analyze sales data based on key metrics and market data. Set sales goals based on tracked data, compare team performance to goals and adjust as needed.

· Oversee and work alongside Marketing team to manage large scale promotional campaigns to drive sales growth.

· Actively participate in the recruitment process for distribution sales talent. Work with HR to source and evaluate quality candidates.

· Work cross functionally with Sales Leadership in related businesses, Marketing, Operations, and other functions as necessary.

· · Establish and lead a disciplined sales operating rhythm including pipeline management, opportunity reviews, call cadence expectations, and performance checkpoints.

· · Develop, implement, and continuously refine standardized sales processes to ensure consistent customer engagement and scalable growth.

· · Champion data-driven selling through CRM usage, pipeline hygiene, forecasting accuracy, and activity tracking.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position has supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS include the following:

· Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

· 10+ years of HVAC experience increasing distribution sales required.

· 5+ years of direct management experience managing a sales organization and coaching a sales team.

· Experience in consultative type sales in a business-to-business environment.

· Demonstrated leadership skills – earns respect of peers, team, and customers. Leads by “influence” and does not rely on positional power.

· Effective team leader – demonstrates empathy, establishes rapport, and gets the job done.

· Positive change agent – persuasive, assertive, resilient.

· Recognizes, respects, and enhances business culture.

· Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications
