Tranquil Haven Counseling is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) to join our team in a remote capacity, focused on providing essential counseling services within a Detox Center. Work Environment

This role is fully remote, offering flexibility while allowing counselors to maintain a high level of engagement with patients. You will be operating from a Detox Center, where you will interact with patients seeking recovery support. Regular business hours are expected, with occasional evening availability required during peak periods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to evaluate the mental health needs of individuals entering the Detox Center, ensuring accurate diagnosis and effective treatment planning.
  • Provide short-term individual counseling and crisis intervention services tailored for patients confronting challenges related to substance use and co-occurring disorders.
  • Facilitate dynamic therapy groups and workshops focusing on strategies for recovery, coping skills, and personal development.
  • Collaborate closely with medical teams, case managers, and community organizations to coordinate comprehensive care, ensuring continuity between mental health and medical services.
  • Engage in outreach initiatives aimed at enhancing community mental health awareness, such as educational seminars and wellness events.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, adhering to all ethical and legal guidelines, while utilizing our electronic health record (EHR) system for documentation.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a counselor at Tranquil Haven Counseling, you will work primarily with individuals who are undergoing detox and recovery from substance use disorders. Qualifications
  • Current state license as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) or equivalent, allowing for independent clinical practice.
