As a jet fuel hauler, your day-to-day duties include safely transporting jet fuel to airports, following strict safety protocols for loading and unloading, and conducting routine inspections on your vehicle and equipment. You’ll also be responsible for maintaining accurate delivery logs, verifying fuel quality through sampling, and coordinating with airport personnel and dispatchers to ensure timely deliveries. Most positions require working independently with a strong commitment to both safety and punctuality, but you’ll regularly interact with operations teams and fuel facility staff. This role often involves driving long distances and may include varying schedules, including nights, weekends, or holidays, depending on the employer and flight demand.
