Hassle Free Home Services was born out of a realization that homeownership came with its share of surprises a never-ending to-do list, constant maintenance, and unexpected upgrades. Since 2003, we've assisted hundreds of homeowners with a simple motto: one call solves it all. Our monthly home maintenance and management services are designed to let homeowners reclaim their precious free time. Join our passionate team in our shared mission to create lifelong relationships with our members, transforming homeownership into a truly hassle-free experience.

Position Overview
The Maintenance Technician facilitates home maintenance services in our members' homes by handling routine tasks, addressing client requests, and proactively spotting potential issues. With our Technicians' diligence and attention to detail, homeowners can rest assured that their home is well cared for and consistently maintained to the highest standard.

What You'll Accomplish

  • Ensure timely and quality completion of scheduled maintenance and repairs for our members' homes
  • Interact with members, subcontractors and our support team to provide updates and instructions regarding maintenance needs
  • Provide clearly documented reports after each visit to summarize the work completed and any necessary follow-up
  • Grow and develop your skills with professional development and opportunities to advance within our company into leadership roles

Who You Are

  • A seasoned handyman or maintenance professional with a background in residential home building and/or maintenance
  • Knowledgeable about basic home maintenance including basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall and painting
  • An excellent problem solver who can work independently to troubleshoot household issues
  • A good communicator who can clearly relay both verbal and written information
  • Comfortable with technology (basic computer skills, email, our Proprietary Software)

Benefits and Compensation

  • Up to $35/hour (commensurate with experience)
  • No on-call work -- stable schedule of 40 hrs/week
  • Take-home company vehicle, assigned only to you

  • This position is based in the Bloomfield Hills, Michigan city and surrounding areas.
