Job description

Contract Senior Accountant job through End of 2026 and possibly permanent hire.
Senior Accountant with AP Review
$44-55 per hour, plus OT when worked
Duration : 5 months minimum - looking for someone to commit to this through end of 2026
Why Open : Growth, need extra hands
Hours/Schedule : 40-45 hours off peak, 50-60 hours during peak
This job:
  • Mix of GL and AP Process Manager - making sure we are paying things on time
  • Support the Project team with PO tracking/request tracking.
  • Responsibility and single point of contact for Engineering and Production team - monthly draw processes on the loans with tight timelines and execution on payment, invoice files equity reimbursements, PO tracking and invoice approval.
  • Coordinate meetings to ensure all disbursements are made timely with compliance
  • Make sure invoices aren't getting stuck, keep things moving along
  • Need someone that will come in and take over his payables, 125 invoices a week come through so we need someone who can manage the process and won't get overwhelmed with the amount they are handling
  • Good foundational skills to help with Audit requests, various close tasks, reconciliation, cash needs/reconciliation
We are looking for:
  • Ideally 5-7 years experience with more experience geared towards payables.
  • Good payables experience but doesn't have to exclusively do that.
  • Someone who's managed a team before would be helpful
  • Experience with high volume processing and complex invoices
  • Must have solid ERP system experience
  • CPA preferred but not required
  • Preference to someone with renewable energy background
Cultural Notes:
  • Team does a lot of events together and has so much fun. Looking for someone who wants to have fun together
  • Work Hard Play Hard, but that doesn't mean crazy hours
  • Communication is key
Pay Details: $45.00 to $55.00 per hour
