Golden Spike Harley-Davidson is seeking a skilled and motivated Motorcycle Technician to join our Service Department. If you enjoy diagnosing, repairing, customizing, and maintaining motorcycles while working with a team that shares your passion for the Harley-Davidson lifestyle, we'd love to meet you.

As a Motorcycle Technician, you will perform service, repair, and customization work on customer and dealership-owned motorcycles while delivering exceptional quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.


What You'll Do

Service & Repair

  • Diagnose, maintain, repair, and customize Harley-Davidson motorcycles.
  • Complete work according to factory specifications and dealership standards.
  • Accurately document repairs and complete required service paperwork.
  • Identify and communicate additional repair or maintenance needs.
  • Request parts promptly and accurately to support efficient workflow.
  • Test ride motorcycles when necessary to verify repairs and performance.
  • Maintain high levels of productivity and quality while meeting service timelines.

Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with Service Advisors and Service Management to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Communicate delays, required parts, or additional work as soon as issues are identified.
  • Support department goals and contribute to a positive team environment.
  • Participate in Harley-Davidson University and other required training programs to maintain and improve technical certifications.

Customer Satisfaction

  • Deliver repairs right the first time and minimize repeat visits.
  • Treat each customer's motorcycle with care and respect.
  • Maintain professional communication and a customer-first mindset.

Shop Organization & Safety

  • Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe.
  • Assist in maintaining overall shop cleanliness and efficiency.
  • Follow all dealership safety procedures and operational standards.
