Job description

Grand Rapids Harley-Davidson is looking for an organized, dependable, and customer-focused Parts-to-Service Associate to join our team.

This position plays an important role in keeping our Parts and Service departments running efficiently by maintaining accurate inventory, handling incoming and outgoing shipments, and ensuring our Service team has the parts they need.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, check in, and organize incoming parts and merchandise
  • Process outgoing shipments and returns
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and accurate parts inventory
  • Perform and assist with monthly inventory counts
  • Pull and stage parts for Service repair orders
  • Track ordered and backordered parts
  • Communicate effectively with Service Advisors, Technicians, and the Parts team
  • Communicate professionally with customers by phone and text
  • Follow up with customers regarding parts orders and availability
  • Help maintain an organized parts room and shipping/receiving area
  • Assist with inventory accuracy and resolve discrepancies when identified

Qualifications

  • Parts inventory experience preferred
  • Shipping and receiving experience preferred
  • Experience performing inventory counts
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Comfortable communicating with customers by phone and text
  • Basic computer and inventory-system skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Dependable and able to work independently
  • Motorcycle, powersports, automotive, or dealership experience is a plus
