Ace Hardware - Immediate Inventory Associate Needed

Are you passionate about maintaining organized inventory levels and ensuring a seamless customer experience? Do you thrive in a fast-paced retail environment?

Ace Hardware is seeking a highly skilled Retail Inventory Associate to join our team. As an Inventory Associate, you will play a crucial role in maintaining optimal inventory levels, implementing best practices, and contributing to the overall success of our store. We are looking for both Full time and Part Time

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure adequate inventory levels to minimize outages
  • Follow developed receiving processes
  • Train on inventory management best practices
  • Monitor inventory management reports
  • Implement location codes and cycle counting
  • Assist with the introduction of new items to store mix
  • Identify obsolete inventory and determine removal strategies
  • Monitor shrinkage and recommend ways to reduce theft and breakage
  • Receiving/unloading weekly trucks

Requirements:

  • Willingness to learn all services provided at the store
  • 8 hour shifts
  • Weekend availability and open availability are a must
  • Must have computer skills to receive and enter invoices
  • Must be able to climb a step stool or ladder up to 6ft tall.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Education/Training:

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent

Experience:

  • Retail experience preferred

Physical Demands:

  • Standing, walking, bending, lifting (30-50 lbs)
  • Ladder climbing several times a day
