About the Role:

The Plumbing & Electrical Sales position is focused on delivering exceptional customer service while driving sales of plumbing and electrical products within a retail environment. The successful candidate will serve as a knowledgeable resource for customers, helping them select the right products to meet their needs and providing expert advice on product features and applications. This role requires a strong understanding of plumbing and electrical supplies, enabling the sales associate to effectively communicate technical information and troubleshoot customer inquiries. The ultimate goal is to enhance customer satisfaction, increase sales revenue, and contribute to the overall success of the store. Additionally, the role involves maintaining product displays, managing inventory, and collaborating with team members to ensure a seamless shopping experience.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous retail sales experience, preferably in plumbing, electrical, or related hardware products.
  • Basic knowledge of plumbing and electrical products and their applications.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience using point-of-sale (POS) systems and inventory management software.
  • Customer service training or experience in a technical retail environment.

Responsibilities:
