At Sety's Ace Hardware, A Sales Associate provides "helpful" customer service by greeting customers, solving project problems, and offering product recommendations. Key duties include operating POS systems, stocking merchandise, maintaining store cleanliness, and promoting loyalty programs, with a focus on product knowledge in hardware, paint, plumbing, lawn and garden, or electrical. Key Responsibilities:Customer Service (S.A.L.E.S Process): Proactively greet and assist customers to find products, ensuring a positive experience.Store Operations: Stock shelves, receive new inventory, create displays, and maintain a clean store.Sales & POS: Accurately process transactions, handle cash/cards, and promote Ace Rewards
Safe daily operation of equipment such as pallet jacks, paint mixers and shakers, key cutting machine, power equipment, etc.Product Knowledge: Develop expertise in hardware, tools, paint, plumbing, and electrical to assist with DIY projects.Safety & Security: Maintain a safe environment and follow loss prevention procedures.
