Position Summary:                                                                                                                 

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Hardware Asset Management Analyst with 8+ years of experience to join our dynamic System Solutions team. This position is ideal for a candidate with experience in hardware or IT asset management, strong data accuracy skills, and proficiency in ServiceNow, who can effectively track, audit, and optimize asset lifecycles while ensuring compliance and cost efficiency. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing hardware asset inventory across its lifecycle, conducting audits and reconciliations, supporting procurement and deployment processes, ensuring compliance with policies and vendor agreements, generating reports and analytics, and improving asset management systems and processes.

Requirements

Essential Functions:                                                                                                              

·       Maintain accurate records of all hardware assets including acquisition, deployment, maintenance, and disposal

·       Conduct regular audits and reconciliations of hardware inventory data to ensure data accuracy.

·       Collaborate with procurement, IT, and finance teams to track hardware purchases and budgets.

·       Monitor hardware asset lifecycle and recommend timely upgrades, replacements, or disposals.

·       Ensure compliance with vendor agreements, warranties, and regulatory requirements.

·       Develop and maintain asset management policies, procedures, and documentation.

·       Support incident and problem management related to hardware assets.

·       Generate reports and analytics on hardware asset status, utilization, and costs.

·       Investigate anomalies in asset data and resolve discrepancies.

·       Assist in the implementation and improvement of asset management tools and systems, with a focuson ServiceNow.

·       Provide training and support to staff on hardware asset management processes.         

Minimum Qualifications                                                                                                                                                                       

Required Education & Experience:

·       Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline

·       Experience in hardware asset management or IT asset management roles.

·       Proficiency in ServiceNow platform for asset management and reporting.

·       Strong ability to generate detailed reports and analyze data to identify and investigate anomalies.

·       Familiarity with asset management software and databases.

·       Strong analytical and organizational skills.

·       Attention to detail and accuracy in data management.

·       Good communication and interpersonal skills.

·       Ability to work collaboratively across departments.

·       Knowledge of IT hardware lifecycle and procurement processes.

Preferred qualification:                                                                                                                      

·       Certifications such as Certified Hardware Asset Management Professional (CHAMP), ITIL Foundation,or ITIL 4 Hardware Asset Management (HAM).

·       Experience with ERP or ITSM tools (e.g., SAP, ServiceNow).

·       Understanding of compliance standards and audit processes.

·       Experience with Inventory Management Systems and Practices
