Job description

Nick of Time Landscapes is hiring a dependable full-time Landscape & Hardscape Crew Member for our field team serving Boerne, Kendall County, and surrounding Texas Hill Country areas.


Minimum 1 year of paid, hands-on masonry, hardscaping, stonework, construction, or professional landscaping experience is required. This is not a masonry-only position. We need a versatile crew member who can contribute to stone, masonry, and hardscape projects while also working with the team on landscaping and seasonal outdoor work.


What you will do: stone and rock installation; retaining walls; landscape borders; patios; flagstone walkways; pavers; hardscaping; base preparation; grading; leveling; drainage work; concrete-related landscape work; fencing; pergolas and outdoor living projects; planting; sod installation; xeriscaping and low-maintenance landscaping; lawn and landscape maintenance; tree and shrub trimming; leaf cleanup; mulching; loading and unloading materials; general outdoor construction; holiday lighting installation; and other seasonal property-improvement work as needed.


What we need: at least 1 year of paid, hands-on experience in masonry, hardscaping, stonework, construction, or professional landscaping; a valid driver's license and reliable transportation; dependable attendance and the ability to report by 7:30 AM Monday through Friday; willingness to work outdoors in South Texas weather and perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation; and willingness to switch between hardscape, landscaping, maintenance, and seasonal projects. Spanish is helpful but not required.


Schedule and pay: Full-time W-2 position, Monday through Friday, approximately 7:30 AM-4:00 PM, paid every Friday. Pay is $18-$20 per hour depending on demonstrated experience and ability: $18/hour for a qualified junior candidate with at least 1 year of relevant hands-on experience, and up to $20/hour for stronger masonry, stonework, hardscape, or construction ability and faster field productivity.
