RN Infusion - RESPONSIBILITIES (listed are included but not limited to)
  • The RN Infusion administers infusion therapies as prescribed, maintaining precision in dosage and timing while adhering to established protocols.
  • Monitor patients throughout the infusion process, promptly addressing any adverse reactions observed.
  • Insert and manage peripheral IV lines and central venous access devices, ensuring optimal functioning and integrity of vascular access sites.
  • The RN Infusion conducts comprehensive assessments of patients before, during, and after infusion therapy, monitoring vital signs and intervening as necessary.
  • Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of infusion therapy administration, adhering to regulatory standards and documentation requirements.
  • The RN Infusion educates patients and families about infusion therapies, potential side effects, and self-care measures, providing written materials and resources for at-home care and follow-up.

RN Infusion - REQUIREMENTS
  • Candidate must possess a bachelor's degree in nursing and at least one full year of professional nursing experience.
  • Must have a minimum of 24 months experience in a RN Infusion environment during the last 36 months.
  • Shall have certification in RN Infusion.
  • Must possess a current, valid, unrestricted nursing license in a state, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a Territory of the United States.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) as approved by the American Heart Association (AHA) are mandatory for all specialties.
  • Evidence of current immunizations is required.
