As a Physical Therapist at Happy Body Therapy, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive consultations with patients to assess their physical conditions and understand their symptoms.
• Diagnosing movement dysfunctions and developing customized treatment plans that address individual patient needs.
• Instructing patients in the proper techniques for therapeutic exercises to maximize their recovery.
• Utilizing hands-on methods such as massage, mobilization, or stimulation techniques to facilitate healing.
• Assisting patients with the use of mobility equipment (e.g., wheelchairs, walkers) to enhance their daily living skills.
• Maintaining accurate patient records, tracking treatment progress, and adjusting care plans as necessary.
• Providing guidance to patients and their families on at-home treatment options and exercises to reinforce progress.

You will be working with a diverse range of patients, from very young children to older adults, each with unique rehabilitation needs. Your knowledge in various modalities will assist you in addressing common conditions such as orthopedic injuries, post-surgical recovery, sports injuries, and chronic pain syndromes. To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• A valid physical therapy license in the state of New Jersey.

• Proficiency in basic computer and word processing skills to maintain patient documentation and communicate effectively.

While the position requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in the field, we highly value candidates who bring additional knowledge in specialized techniques or treatment modalities such as pediatric therapy, geriatric rehab, or sports rehabilitation. Experience in creating individualized care plans is a plus.
