Happy Body Therapy is seeking a skilled and dedicated Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team in Jacksonville, Florida. This full-time position plays a critical role in our rehabilitation center, where therapists work closely with patients to assess, diagnose, and treat a variety of physical ailments. • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical conditions, including evaluating strength, range of motion, and motor function.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that address the specific needs and goals of each patient, incorporating therapeutic exercises and modalities.
• Teach patients effective exercise techniques and proper usage of therapeutic equipment such as wheelchairs, walkers, and assistive devices.
• Administer treatment methods including manual therapy, modalities, and pain management strategies to promote healing and recovery.
• Maintain detailed patient records, documenting progress and outcomes to adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Advise patients and their families on in-home treatment options, exercises, and lifestyle modifications to support long-term healing and health.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals within the center to ensure coordinated care and optimal patient outcomes.

At Happy Body Therapy, our physical therapists work with a wide array of clients, ranging from pediatric to geriatric populations, and addressing various diagnoses including orthopedic injuries, neurological conditions, post-surgical rehabilitation, and chronic pain management. This diverse client base allows therapists to apply their skills across different demographics and clinical scenarios, enriching their professional experience and enhancing their ability to contribute positively to the health community.

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with patients, families, and team members.
• Strong organizational skills, including proficiency in computer systems for documentation and patient management.
• A flexible approach to adapting treatment techniques based on individual patient needs and progress.

While a minimum of 2 years’ experience is required, we welcome both newly licensed Physical Therapists and seasoned practitioners. Experience in a rehabilitation setting, knowledge of contemporary therapeutic techniques, and familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems will be advantageous in this role.
