Job description

Job Role & Responsibilities

Wiring, Installing, and Configuring Alarm Systems, Access Control Systems, Camera Surveillance Systems, & Networks for residential and commercial projects. Assisting with Audio/Video installations as needed. Operating under the training and guidance of Premier’s Security Specialist & Department Head to install these systems to the approved Premier Group specifications.

Skills

  • Must be well organized
  • Desired at least 3 years (combined or separate) experience with wiring, installing, and configuring Alarm Systems, Access Control, Camera Surveillance, and Networks including but not limited to:
    • Honeywell Alarm Systems (Vista 20, Vista 21ip, Vista 128, Lyric, Pro)
    • Clare Alarm Systems
    • Elk Alarm Systems
    • ICT Alarm Systems
    • Computer Networking skills
    • Camera Surveillance Systems (Honeywell, Lilin, Luma, Clare, Hanwha)
    • Access Control Systems (Honeywell, Brivo, Comelit, Kisi, Salto)
    • Basic carpentry and power tool skills
  • Able to read and understand blueprints & wire diagrams
  • CEDIA and Honeywell, Hanwha certification preferred
  • Must have intermediate computer skills
  • Must have valid Indiana driver’s license

Work Conditions

  • Monday – Friday 8am – 5:00pm, participation in Premier’s on-call after-hours/weekend service plan.
  • Overtime may be required
  • Able to travel out-of-town for extended periods of time
  • Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, power tools, and other devices and object
  • Physically able to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, stand for long periods of time, and perform physically demanding tasks

Compensation & Benefits

  • This position pays an hourly rate range of $25-$35/Hour pending level of experience
