Landscape Maintenance Crew Leader
Steve Hanson Landscaping is the largest boutique landscape company in Santa Barbara. We build and maintain gardens that enhance life.
Our services include everything from landscape design and installation to patios and paths, walls and fences, ponds and water features, and much more.

We are currently searching for an experienced Landscape Maintenance Crew Leader to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside a creative and skilled group dedicated to maintaining some of the most beautiful gardens in Santa Barbara.

We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented professional who is passionate about landscaping and takes pride in delivering exceptional results.

This is a full-time role.

Work Location
Santa Barbara, CA and Montecito, CA
Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise a 2-person landscape maintenance crew
  • Drive company vehicle to residential properties
  • Perform hands-on garden maintenance (pruning, lawn care, irrigation checks, etc.)
  • Ensure high-quality standards are consistently met
  • Follow schedules and instructions independently
  • Communicate effectively with clients and team members
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in landscape maintenance, including supervisory or crew lead experience
  • Strong knowledge of garden maintenance (plant care, lawn care, irrigation systems)
  • Ability to work independently and lead a team
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
  • Valid California driver’s license with a clean driving record
