Job description

Location: Travel throughout Connecticut to multiple Anytime Fitness locations
Job Type: Part-Time
Pay: $25.00/hour
About the Role
We're looking for a dependable, hands-on General Maintenance Technician to help keep our Anytime Fitness clubs clean, safe, and operating at their best. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, working independently, and tackling a variety of maintenance projects.
You'll travel between our Connecticut locations performing routine maintenance, minor repairs, painting, and general facility upkeep. Experience repairing fitness equipment is not required.
Responsibilities
  • Perform general building maintenance and repairs
  • Complete basic plumbing repairs (leaky faucets, toilets, drains, etc.)
  • Patch, repair, and paint walls and other surfaces
  • Replace fixtures, hardware, ceiling tiles, and other building components
  • Perform minor carpentry and drywall repairs
  • Complete preventative maintenance tasks
  • Troubleshoot and resolve general facility issues
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and professional environment
  • Communicate repair needs and project updates with management
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in general maintenance, facilities, handyman services, or a related trade preferred
  • Basic knowledge of plumbing, painting, and general repairs
  • Ability to safely use common hand and power tools
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Ability to perform standard maintenance inspections
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to travel between Connecticut locations as needed
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work including climbing ladders, kneeling, and standing for extended periods
