Hiring Maintenance Technicians / Handymen

Location: Seattle, WA

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM

Pay: $30-$35/hr

Job Overview

We're seeking skilled Maintenance Technicians to perform repairs, maintenance, renovations, and emergency service work across apartment and residential properties. The ideal candidate has experience with carpentry, drywall, plumbing, electrical repairs, and general building maintenance while providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities
  • Complete scheduled, turnover, and emergency maintenance repairs
  • Perform carpentry, drywall, painting, plumbing, and minor electrical work
  • Assist with renovations, remodels, and special construction projects
  • Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance
  • Maintain safe, clean, and organized worksites
  • Communicate with property managers and document completed work
  • Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of maintenance, handyman, or property maintenance experience
  • Experience with carpentry, drywall repair, plumbing, and basic electrical work
  • Ability to repair doors, walls, flooring, fixtures, appliances, and locks
  • Familiarity with remodeling, roofing, siding, concrete, or brickwork preferred
  • Basic computer skills for work orders, email, and online systems
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Reliable transportation, personal cell phone, and basic maintenance tools required
  • Ability to work independently and follow safety procedures
  • Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Must have a vehicle in operable condition

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
