Job description

Position Overview
American Wolf Construction is seeking a skilled and dependable Field Service Technician / Construction Handyman to support our Superintendents and Project Managers across multiple active projects. This position is responsible for completing punch list items, warranty work, small repairs, quality control corrections, site maintenance, material pickups, and miscellaneous construction tasks that help keep projects moving forward.
The ideal candidate is self-motivated, takes pride in quality workmanship, communicates well, and has experience in multiple trades including carpentry, drywall, paint, doors, trim, minor electrical, and general construction repairs.
Responsibilities
  • Complete punch list and make-ready items on active and completed projects.
  • Perform warranty and service work for homeowners and clients.
  • Assist Superintendents with project support tasks and field corrections.
  • Complete minor framing, drywall, texture, paint, trim, door, hardware, and finish carpentry work.
  • Perform basic electrical, plumbing, and general repair tasks within skill level.
  • Coordinate with Project Managers and Superintendents regarding priorities and schedules.
  • Maintain clean and organized jobsites.
  • Pick up and deliver materials, tools, and equipment as needed.
  • Document completed work with photos and notes.
  • Identify quality issues and proactively address deficiencies.
  • Assist with jobsite inspections and final project turnover.
  • Support emergency service calls and urgent project needs.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of construction, handyman, maintenance, or remodeling experience preferred.
  • Experience in residential and commercial construction.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Working knowledge of carpentry, drywall, paint, doors, hardware, and general repairs.
  • Ability to read plans and follow scopes of work.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in various jobsite conditions.
