1: Boat Driver

Position Overview: Kents Hill Sports Camp is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Boat Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating our boats, pulling tubers and waterskiers, and ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for campers. You will play a vital role in creating memorable and thrilling watersport activities that contribute to the overall camp experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate motorboats safely and responsibly, adhering to all boating regulations and camp policies.
  • Safely tow campers on tubes and waterskis, providing clear instructions and ensuring their well-being.
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip boat inspections, including equipment checks and maintenance.
  • Assist in the maintenance and care of boats, trailers, and water sports equipment.
  • Instruct campers on proper watersports techniques and safety procedures.
  • Monitor and enforce water safety guidelines to maintain a secure environment.
  • Serve as a positive role model for campers, promoting sportsmanship, teamwork, and enthusiasm.
