SUMMARY: The Material Handler II is responsible for the safe and efficient movement, storage, and tracking of materials within a warehouse or production environment. This role requires experience in handling inventory, operating equipment, and maintaining accurate records, while supporting the overall supply chain operations.

Shift: Monday-Thursday 1:55pm-12:25am

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Review raw material production schedules, pull material, and deliver to individual workstations.
  • Verify incoming material quantity/quality requirements, put away, and complete ERP receipt transactions.
  • Maintains and organizes raw material inventory.
  • Perform inventory cycle counts
  • Collaborate with inventory control to determine when product stock is needed.
  • Pack products to prepare for shipments.
  • Moves goods interdepartmentally utilizing hand trucks and other material handling equipment.
  • Maintains and organizes finished product stock.
  • Operate Forklift within the facility to transport product.

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:

  • Solid interpersonal skills.
  • Time management/deadline oriented.

  • Computer skills.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE Required:

  • Minimum three (3) years' experience working in an MRP/ERP environment.
  • Minimum three (3) years of hands-on experience with picking, packing, and inventory control.
  • Proficient in operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Desired:

  • Forklift Certified a plus, will train if needed.
  • Experience with UPS and FedEx shipping software.
