Position Title: Shipper Packer Night - LOCATION: 3675 Britannia Dr, Tucson, AZ 85706

Position Overview:
FalconTek is seeking Shipper Packers - 2nd Shift to join our team and support critical operations in a federal facility. This role involves accurately preparing, packaging, and shipping prescriptions for our nation's veterans. Responsibilities:

  • Scan prescription barcodes for processing.
  • Place prescriptions into appropriately sized mailing envelopes or boxes.
  • Include patient refill documents and return address labels in the package.
  • Add packing materials to protect contents from leakage or damage during shipping.
  • Seal containers securely and ensure proper closure.
  • Affix address labels to packages and transfer completed orders to the manifesting area.
  • Maintain stock levels and ensure a clean, organized work area.

Qualifications:
Candidates for the Shipper Packer role must meet the following criteria:

  • Minimum of 1 year of work experience. Previous experience as a cashier, dishwasher, packer, or assembly line worker is a plus.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or provide proof of citizenship or legal residency in the United States.
  • Must be at least 18 years old and a high school graduate or have a GED.
  • Physical requirements include the ability to:
    • Lift up to 50 pounds.
    • Twist and stoop as needed.
    • Stand for extended periods performing repetitive wrist and hand motions.
    • Move stock and/or packages from one area to another.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Understand how to select the appropriate type and size of containers for packaging.
  • Ability to follow directions and meet production and accuracy standards established by the facility.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and meet all safety standards.
  • Flexibility to work required regular and overtime hours as needed by the facility.

Additional Requirements:
This position is located in a secure federal building. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) requires the following for all applicants:

  • Ability to pass a Federal background check.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug screenings, including testing for THC/marijuana.
