ABOUT ASAHI BEER USA / OCTOPI BREWING
Founded in 2014 as a Wisconsin contract brewery, Octopi has spent over a decade brewing and packaging beer, seltzers, RTDs, and sodas for clients nationwide. In 2024, Asahi - brewers of Asahi Super Dry - acquired Octopi, making us the U.S. production home of Asahi Super Dry. Today, our 250+ person team of beverage industry pros keeps that same local, quality-first spirit alive at a state-of-the-art facility. Our packaging lines run right alongside the cellar and brewhouse, keeping fresh product moving from tank to can around the clock.
THE OPPORTUNITY
Every batch we brew has to get packaged, and that's where you come in. As Octopi keeps growing as the U.S. home of Asahi Super Dry, we're adding Packaging Specialists across shifts to keep our lines running strong.
WHAT MAKES THIS ROLE GREAT
• Work across our bottle, can, variety pack, and kegging lines - no two days look the same
• A direct hand in getting our product from the brewery to shelves everywhere
• Hands-on machine experience with real room to cross-train and grow
WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Run our bottle, can, variety pack, and kegging lines - including changeovers, CIP, and routine maintenance
• Confirm the right packaging mix and volume before every fill
• Log packaging run data and catch process hiccups before they become bigger problems
• Pull samples and take measurements to keep quality on track
• Safely operate a forklift to keep product moving between production and storage
WHAT YOU BRING
Must-haves:
• High school diploma
• Comfortable standing for 8+ hours in a fast-paced production environment
• Able to lift 55 lbs and move 165 lbs as needed
• Strong attention to detail and organization
Nice-to-haves:
• Prior machine operation or packaging experience

• 1st Shift Monday - Thursday 6am - 4pm - Openings available
• 2nd Shift Monday - Thursday 4pm - 2am - Opening available
• 3rd Shift Monday - Thursday 8pm - 6am - Openings Available

PAY BY SHIFT
Base rate for this role is $20.00/hr. Shifts outside of 1st shift include an additional shift differential on top of that base - never a lower starting rate, just added pay for the shift.
• 1st Shift - $20.00/hr (base rate)
• 2nd Shift - $20.00/hr base + $3.00/hr shift differential = $23.00/hr
• 3rd Shift - $20.00/hr base + $4.00/hr shift differential = $24.00/hr
• Weekend Day - $20.00/hr base + $5.75/hr shift differential = $25.75/hr
• Weekend Night - $20.00/hr base + $7.75/hr shift differential = $27.75/hr
