Description

American Traveler is hiring an Occupational or Physical Therapist for an Outpatient Hand Therapy position, requiring at least 1 year of outpatient hand therapy experience.

Details
  • Outpatient rehabilitation clinic setting specializing in hand therapy
  • OT Outpatient unit within a hand clinic work setting
  • Day shift schedule with options for 4x10-hour shifts (7:30 AM-6:00 PM) or 5x8-hour shifts (8:00 AM-4:30 PM)
  • No floating required within this unit, though candidates may float to an affiliate hospital nearby per facility policy
  • Epic EMR experience required
Requirements
  • Certified Hand Therapist credential preferred
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in outpatient hand therapy required
  • New graduates will not be considered
  • Active OR state license required at time of submission (license required if applicable)
  • BLS certification through AHA required (traditional AHA only, RQI not accepted)
  • Epic charting system experience required
  • COVID vaccination proof required with no exemptions accepted
  • Two manager or supervisor references from within the last 24 months required
  • Comprehensive background check required with no tolerance for background or license issues
Additional Information
  • First-time travelers will be considered for this position
  • Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate with no mile radius restriction
  • Requested time off must be submitted upfront and cannot exceed 2 weeks
  • Former OHSU employees or previous travelers must be separated for 6 or more months before returning as a traveler
  • Refusal to float to an affiliate hospital as requested may result in contract cancellation
  • Candidates must complete pre-start training modules, which vary based on profession
