Our growing MedTech client is looking for a manufacturing Assembler to will help build innovative medical devices that improve patient lives around the world. Whether your career goals include becoming a Senior Assembler, Test Technician, Manufacturing Technician, Quality Inspector, or Production Leader, you will have opportunities to develop your skills while working alongside experienced manufacturing and engineering professionals. The Manufacturing Assembler is responsible for assembling medical device components, subassemblies, and finished products in accordance with approved work instructions, quality requirements, and regulatory standards. This position plays a critical role in ensuring product quality, reliability, and patient safety while supporting production objectives in a collaborative manufacturing environment.

Required Skills & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Previous assembly, soldering, inspection, or manufacturing experience preferred.

• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to use common hand tools.

• Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications.

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions with strong attention to detail.

 • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.

• Ability to perform detailed assembly work requiring visual inspection and fine motor skills.

 • Ability to occasionally lift and move materials up to 40 pounds.

• Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Experience in medical device manufacturing or another regulated industry.

• Familiarity with IPC-A-610 and/or IPC J-STD-001 standards.

• Experience with ERP systems and manufacturing documentation.

• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble medical device components and subassemblies using hand tools such as torque drivers, screwdrivers, wrenches, and pliers.

 • Perform assembly and soldering activities by following detailed work instructions and procedures.

 • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

• Accurately complete production transactions in ERP systems and document required manufacturing data.

• Assist with packing, labeling, and preparing finished goods for shipment.

• Identify and communicate nonconformances to senior technicians, quality personnel, or engineering staff.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure products meet quality and regulatory requirements.

• Follow documented procedures supporting FDA quality regulations, ISO 13485 requirements, and internal quality objectives.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance safety, quality, and efficiency.
