The Role:

  • EMR: Epic (virtual EMR training required prior to start)

  • Backup specialties: General surgery 24/7; urology coverage minimal (approx. 2 days/week)
  • Typical volumes: ~15 deliveries per month
  • Weekend/On-call: Yes - Weekend call and premium applies when called in. Weekend call equals 6 regular hours per day + premium when called in.

Credentialing & EMR Requirements:

  • Credentialing timeframe: 60 days standard (30 days or less for temps when possible)
  • Pre-application and full application must be submitted promptly (facility requests submission within 72 hours of initial app to allow AD account creation for EMR).
  • Self-query NPDB report is mandatory at time of presentation and must be dated within 30 days of submission.
  • CO license or active IMLC (LOQ in hand at submission) required to release pre-application.
  • EMR training sequence required before first day:
    • Complete assigned Epic Modules (lessons) prior to attending virtual EMR training.
    • Complete Epic Virtual (PPL) training after modules - virtual training must be completed at least one week prior to first day.
    • AD account creation and EMR account setup may take up to 5 days once applicant is moved to "applicant in training."
    • First day details will be released only after EMR modules and virtual training are completed.
  • Facilities require completion of an EMR questionnaire with each candidate submission. Items to include in submission notes:
    • Years of Epic experience
    • Last time Epic was used (MM/YYYY)
    • Name of last facility where Epic was used
    • High-resolution photo suitable for badge upload
    • Provider time zone for scheduling virtual training
    • Best phone number to use for call shifts
    • Best personal email for onsite programs and pre-application

Submission Requirements (Required / Preferred):

  • Board Certified OB/GYN or Truly Board Eligible (0-5 years post-residency) - REQUIRED
  • Active Colorado license or active IMLC with LOQ in hand at time of submission - REQUIRED
  • Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days of presentation - REQUIRED
  • BLS - Highly preferred (required to obtain during credentialing)
  • DEA - Highly preferred (required for credentialing). Transferred DEA may be considered but must be retained for duration of assignment.
  • Clean malpractice/background file - Highly preferred
  • Candidate must acknowledge understanding of EMR training sequence and required preferred lodging policy when rooms are available - REQUIRED
  • Candidate must confirm availability for the detailed stint dates and indicate how many shifts per month they can commit ongoing - REQUIRED

Travel & Lodging:

  • Preferred lodging (when available): Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott, Fort Morgan OR Hampton Inn, Fort Morgan. Please request corporate rate when booking. Other lodging typically not approved.
  • Air travel acceptable; preference may be given to local candidates.
  • If any travel exceptions are needed (e.g., dietary or lodging needs), include details in the provider presentation - travel exception requests will be denied if not disclosed upfront.
  • When providing travel info in submission, indicate city where provider will be traveling from.
