Job description

Join an award-winning "Best Places to Work" 9 years in a row at Kenneth's Hair Salons and Day Spas!
Are you looking for a place to call home? We are expanding our Hair Stylist base and looking to add fun, passionate, and motivated stylists to our growing family of technicians!
We'd love to have you in our Apprentice Stylist Training Program! With our world class Stylist Training Program, you will be taught by our education team as well as assigned mentors to deliver the highest level of service that Kenneth's is known for. Our hands-on program includes live models and assisting top stylists in the company. Following completion of all levels of the training program, you will be assigned a chair at the location of your choosing from one of our 9 salons across the Columbus area. Continuing education is provided constantly to keep you up to date on the hottest trends! As one of our newly licensed Hair Stylists, we will coach you to make a six-figure income! We offer flexible 3, 4 or 5 day schedules after successful completion of the Apprentice Program. Part time schedules are offered after one year of being behind your chair at your forever salon. This is to ensure you have a full year of personal coaching to build a successful business! We also work with you to develop a schedule and pace that prepares you to be successful, but not make you feel you are always juggling or struggling.
Are you an experienced stylist, but find you are looking for greater security, more education, or just need a change? We would love to talk to you to see if we may have what you are looking for. We will discuss your history, skills, and passions and then evaluate how that may impact a new and exciting career with us.
Come work for a fun and supportive team that realizes you desire schedule flexibility but also want to make the most of yourself and your career.
At Kenneth's, we live by our Core Values of Believe, Grow, Care and Community and we are passionate about cultivating a positive work environment and committed to elevating our industry by empowering beauty professional to make a living beyond expectations. We firmly believe in our Vision of "Everyone deserves to feel beautiful!"
Can't decide between wanting to own your salon or partner with one?
At Kenneth's, you become an employee-owner! We 100% employee-owned which means we are as concerned with your long-term security as well as your current success goals. We also offer many benefits such as insurance (we pay 2/3), 401k, paid time off, as well as many other incentives that reward you with time/schedule perks and/or compensation! You will not find a benefits package like we offer anywhere-locally or nationally.
We have a strong behind the scenes team working for you. This dedicated team schedules your appointments, orders your supplies, coordinates your ongoing training, handles all of the day-to-day salon business so you can focus on your clients - and your income.
We also understand you may have concerns over "signing your life away." Harsh contracts can make it a challenge to consider working for a certain salon or spa. We offer a very fair non-solicitation agreement that DOES NOT have a proximity clause telling you where you can or cannot work. More importantly, your clients you bring with you are not part of your agreement!
Like what you see? Apply online now or contact us for a tour! We would love to discuss your personal career goals and how Kenneth's could partner with you to achieve them!
