Job description

Salon Stylist – Moxie Sparta Brand Hair Stylist

Position Overview
We are seeking a talented and experienced licensed Hair Stylist with 3+ years of lead stylist experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate is driven, organized, sales-oriented, and passionate about helping clients look and feel their best. Our salon operates on a team-based model, so collaboration, professionalism, and a positive attitude are essential.

If you are an energetic, self-motivated, and goal-oriented stylist who thrives in a fast-paced salon environment and loves building strong client relationships, we would love to hear from you.

Compensation
Competitive pay based on experience.

Schedule
We are currently seeking a stylist who is flexible and available to work weekends and some weekdays as needed, based on client bookings and salon demand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality hair services, including cutting, coloring, styling, and finishing services.
  • Perform professional blowouts and extension services tailored to client needs.
  • Conduct consultations for hair color, cuts, and extensions to determine the best results for each client.
  • Apply makeup services for special occasions or everyday looks when requested.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation, tools, and salon environment in accordance with salon standards.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and client experience to encourage retention and referrals.
  • Collaborate with fellow stylists and team members to support a positive, team-oriented salon culture.
  • Stay current with industry trends, techniques, and product knowledge.

Required Qualifications

  • Active Cosmetology License.
  • Minimum 3 years of lead stylist experience in a salon environment.
  • Strong expertise in hair color, haircuts, blowouts, and hair extensions.
  • Solid understanding of color theory and hair coloring techniques.
  • Excellent communication and consultation skills with a client-first mindset.
  • Strong organizational skills and sales awareness.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Barbering skills are a plus and allow for a wider range of styling services.
  • Experience recommending and selling professional hair care products.
