Interventional Radiology Technologist
Schedule
Shift: 5x8 Days
Requirements
- License: State or compact license
- Certifications: ARRT (R), BLS
- Years of experience: 5 years preferred
- EMR: Epic required
- Unit-specific skills:
- Interventional procedures (angiography, embolization, stent placement, IVC filter placement/removal)
- Vascular access (central lines, PICC, port placement)
- Fluoroscopy and sterile technique
- Ultrasound-guided access and general IR fundamentals
- Familiarity with PACS and imaging equipment
- Experience with Siemens single-plane suite required
Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform interventional radiology procedures, including angiography and embolization.
- Ensure high standards of patient care and safety during procedures.
- Collaborate with interventional radiologists and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment as needed.
- Implement and adhere to sterile technique and safety protocols.
- Document procedures accurately in the electronic health record system.
Compliance / Notes
- Must complete core onboarding items/labs within 48 hours of contract signing.
- Orientation modules to be completed onsite during orientation.
