Job description

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a BE/BC, Pediatric Physiatrist for Joseph M. Sanzari Children’s Hospital at Hackensack University Medical Center located in Hackensack, New Jersey. Both new graduates and experienced physicians are welcome to apply. This opportunity offers plenty of room for growth, as well as a collegial environment with a large team of Pediatric Specialists. This is a great opportunity to live in a desirable location with excellent schools and easy access to New York and Philadelphia.


  • M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited institution
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible 
  • Active New Jersey medical license, CDS, and DEA (or ability to obtain)

  • Provide diagnostic and treatment services utilizing a family-centered approach
  • Provide out-patient care, with in-patient consults. 
  • Teach medical students and residents on clinical rotations
  • Collaborate with K. Hovnanian’s Children’s Hospital team on special projects, including but not limited to program development, research, and quality improvement 
  • Be part of a collegial team to build and grow the Pediatric Physiatry Services 
  • Academic opportunities at Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine
