We are seeking a CNC Machinist with Haas experience to join a local manufacturing company in West Bend, WI for a direct hire.


Pay: $28-38/HR

Job Summary

We’re looking for a solid CNC Setup Operator to join our team. You’ll be setting up and running Haas machining centers to make precision parts. If you’re good at setups, enjoy solving problems at the machine, and take pride in making quality parts, we’d love to talk to you.

What You’ll Do

Handle full CNC setups on Haas machines — tooling, work holding, fixturing, and loading programs

Run Haas vertical machining centers including multi-axis operations

Read blueprints and understand GD&T

Work with CAMWorks programs — load them, prove them out, and make adjustments as needed

Check your own parts using calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, gauge blocks, etc.

Make offsets and minor edits to keep parts in tolerance

Troubleshoot issues that come up during setup or production

Keep your machines and workspace clean and organized

Work with our programmers and quality team to keep improving

What We’re Looking For

5+ years of real experience setting up and operating Haas CNC machines

Comfortable with Haas controls

Strong blueprint reading skills

Good with precision measuring tools

Familiarity with CAMWorks (or similar CAM software) is a big plus

Reliable, detail-oriented, and safety-minded

High school diploma or equivalent

Bonus Points If You Have

Experience on 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis Haas mills

Basic G-code editing skills

A continuous improvement / “make it better” mindset

Experience in high-mix job shops
