Fedops Engineer
FedOps candidate should possess strong experience in managing and supporting cloud-based and enterprise platforms within highly regulated environments, with a focus on reliability, security, and compliance. The role requires proficiency in DevOps practices such as CI/CD, infrastructure automation, and monitoring, along with hands-on expertise in troubleshooting, incident response, and system optimization to ensure high availability and performance. Candidates should be comfortable collaborating across development, security, and operations teams to streamline software delivery while adhering to governance standards typical of federal environments. Strong AAP playbook skillset, problem-solving skills, operational mindset, and the ability to continuously improve processes through automation and data-driven insights are essential. The knowledge of HPOO and HPSA are a plus in this role but not absolutely required.
Core Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and support event-driven automation leveraging the FedOps framework across ServiceNow, Polycloud, and enterprise platforms
• Build, maintain, and optimize automation workflows using Ansible Automation Platform (AAP)
• Develop reusable, scalable playbooks for alert remediation, self-healing, and operational workflows
• Integrate automation solutions with enterprise systems (ServiceNow, APIs, infrastructure platforms)
• Support onboarding of applications/use cases into FedOpythps and ensure alignment with enterprise standards
• Troubleshoot and resolve automation failures, ensuring reliability and operational resiliency
