Job Description:

Sideworx Connect is seeking qualified Oilfield Medics and H2S Airhands for temporary positions during Turnaround/Shutdown work in the Bakken oilfield. The Oilfield Medic will provide emergency medical care and support, while the H2S Airhands will focus on managing hydrogen sulfide (H2S) hazards. Both roles are essential for maintaining a safe working environment during high-risk operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Oilfield Medic:

Emergency Medical Care: Provide immediate medical attention and first aid to injured or ill personnel. Administer treatment as needed and coordinate with emergency medical services.

Medical Records: Maintain accurate and confidential medical records for all treatments provided. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Health Monitoring: Conduct health assessments and monitor the health status of employees. Manage any health-related incidents and provide reports as required.

Safety Support: Assist in the development and implementation of health and safety procedures. Provide training and guidance on health-related issues.

H2S Airhands:

H2S Safety Management: Monitor and manage H2S levels to ensure compliance with safety standards. Use detection equipment to continuously assess air quality.

Emergency Response: Act promptly in the event of H2S exposure or related emergencies. Execute H2S emergency response procedures and assist with evacuations if necessary.

Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that all H2S safety equipment is properly maintained and operational. Conduct regular checks and calibrations of H2S detection devices.

Safety Compliance: Enforce safety procedures related to H2S hazards. Provide support and training to other team members on H2S safety practices.

Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in oil and gas facility shutdown work, with relevant experience in medical emergency response (for Medics) and H2S safety management (for H2S Airhands).

Certifications:

Oilfield Medic: Current First Aid, CPR, and relevant medical certifications and 1st aid, 1 base 1 way, PEC.

H2S Airhands: Current H2S (Hydrogen Sulfide Safety) certification and 1st aid, 1 base 1 way, PEC.

Pre-employment Testing: Successful completion of a drug and alcohol test is required prior to employment.

Skills: Strong knowledge of emergency medical procedures and H2S safety practices. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure in challenging environments.

Working Conditions:

Location: Bakken Oilfield, Williston North Dakota.

Duration: Temporary, based on turnaround/shutdown schedule.

Hours: May involve extended hours, weekends, and on-call duties depending on project needs.
