We are seeking a Psychiatrist for an Outpatient Clinic position with a new Psychiatric Clinic within the 2nd largest hospital in the state of Vermont (188 beds). This facility serves a population of 100,000+ residents. Call is shared on a 1:5 basis, and does include inpatients (the hospital has a 19-bed inpatient clinic). This is a hospital employed position offering a very competitive compensation package with a generous base salary, and hospital benefits including: a retirement program with employer match, a tax-deferred earnings program, and a total of 32 paid days off, with 8 days of CME and CME allowance, as well as relocation assistance. Central Vermont with its beautiful rolling hills, picturesque rivers and lakes, still offers affordable real estate. The area offers excellent public and private schools and easy access to area Colleges and Universities. The area offers a plethora of recreational activities including: hiking, camping, kayaking, golfing, mountain biking and boating in the warmer months. During the winter months enjoy exceptional downhill and cross country skiing and snowshoeing. Rutland is located just 1.5 hours from the state capital of Montpelier, and only 2 hours from Albany, NY, a only a little over three hours from Boston, MA.
