Job description

Season Dates: November 23, 2026 - April 18, 2027

Openings: 11 positions available

Sugar Bowl Corporation d/b/a Sugar Bowl Resort is one of California's most beloved mountain destinations - a place where guests come to make memories and team members come to love what they do. We're currently seeking dedicated, detail-oriented Housekeepers to help deliver the exceptional experience our guests expect season after season.

In this role, you'll be the heartbeat of the guest experience - keeping our rooms, suites, private residences, and common areas in pristine condition. Your days will include vacuuming, dusting, and washing windows; refreshing and replenishing linens and towels; and ensuring every bathroom is spotless and fully stocked. If you take pride in your work, thrive in a team environment, and want to spend a season surrounded by stunning Sierra Nevada scenery, we'd love to hear from you.

Why Sugar Bowl?

Sugar Bowl Resort has been proudly independent for over 80 years and is one of the oldest ski resorts in California. Situated atop beautiful Donner Summit, Sugar Bowl has a storied past with ties to Austrian ski culture, Hollywood and Walt Disney. This special community helped bring skiing to "sunny California" since December 1939. Since then, it continues to attract adventurous winter sports enthusiasts alike.

Who You Are:

You have a minimum of three (3) months of housekeeping experience at a high-end hotel, resort, or private club

You move quickly and hold yourself to a high standard - our guests expect the best, and so do we

You are reliable, detail-oriented, and take genuine pride in the quality of your work

You thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

What You'll do:

Maintain guest rooms, suites, private residences, and common areas in pristine, resort-quality condition

Vacuum, dust, wash windows, and perform thorough daily cleaning of all assigned spaces

Refresh and replenish linens, towels, toiletries, and in-room amenities to brand standards

Ensure all bathrooms are spotless, fully stocked, and guest-ready at all times

Cost: $375.00 - $750.00 per month (utilities included); rate varies by room type and occupancy

Housing cost deducted in installments of half the monthly rate from the first two paychecks of each month

A refundable security deposit equal to half the monthly rate is required upon acceptance, paid directly to the employer

Security deposit refunded based on condition of housing upon departure
