Xylem is hiring a Sales Manager for their commercial treatment business in Canada!

The Sales Manager is a senior-level position responsible for leading complex sales projects and initiatives in the water industry. This role involves identifying and pursuing high-value sales opportunities, conducting advanced sales presentations, and developing strategies to improve sales performance. The Sales Manager works closely with cross-functional teams to address customer needs, implement corrective actions, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Additionally, this role involves mentoring and training junior sales staff and providing technical expertise to support continuous improvement efforts.
This position coversall of Canada, and the ideal candidate will bebased in Canada. The successful candidate will be responsible for selling intomunicipal wastewater and drinking water facilitiesacross the region.Bilingual proficiency in English and French is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities:

Sales and Business Development
Identify and develop new business opportunities acrossCanada, with a focus onmunicipal wastewater and drinking water projects, working with 3rd party representatives.
Build and maintain relationships with clients.
Create and implement sales strategies.
Meet and exceed sales targets.
Conduct market research and analysis.

Account Management
Manage and grow existing client accounts.
Provide excellent customer service and support.
Upsell and cross-sell products and services.
Address and resolve any client concerns or issues.
Maintain accurate records and reports of client interactions and sales activities.

Product Knowledge and Marketing
Stay up to date with industry trends and product knowledge.
Promote and educate clients on new products and services.
Assist in the development of marketing materials and campaigns.
Participate in trade shows and events to promote the company and its products.
Provide feedback and insights for product development.

Administrative Tasks
Prepare and submit sales reports and forecasts.
Manage and maintain CRM database.
Coordinate and schedule sales meetings and presentations.
Handle invoicing and payment processing.
Monitor and track sales expenses and budgets.

Based in Canada preferred.
Bilingual in English and French preferred.

The estimated salary range for this position is $90,000 CAD to $120,000 CAD plus bonus. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range.
