Job description

JOB SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for project management and process engineering services. The position will involve projects in their full scope from initial estimating, proposal submission, construction and start-up. The position will also be available to assist manufacturing plants with safety, quality, process optimization and productivity improvements.
MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (not all inclusive):
  • Major focus will be on projects related to the manufacturing plants
  • Develop project scopes; estimate equipment, installations, and engineering costs and prepare project schedules for Appropriation Requests
  • Complete all project assignments within established scope, budget, and schedule
  • Design of and/or oversee preparation of construction drawings packages for capital projects
  • Oversee field construction activities
  • Project start-ups
  • Specification and procurement of equipment and engineering and construction services
  • Work with existing facilities for maintenance, repair and improvement projects
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • BS in Civil/Structural Engineering, with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience
  • 5 years Project Management experience, preferred
  • Thorough understanding of OSHA safety regulations related to assigned projects
  • Computer skills - Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, experience with SAP a plus
  • Willingness to travel
  • Experience in wallboard or equivalent manufacturing plant and process a plus
  • Engineering design experience
  • Ability to plan and coordinate a project from start to finish
  • Ability to handle multiple projects
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment

Competitive Salary, with a general salary range of $111,744.00 to $139,680.00, or higher depending on education and experience.
