Job description

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Gymnastics Instructor to join our team! As a Gymnastics Instructor with us, you will be teaching in a group as well as on an individual level, and you will be handling a variety of age groups and skill levels. You will also track their progress, provide feedback, motivation, and support all students. The ideal candidate will be positive, have experience teaching, and have the ability to spot and encourage growth and learning. 

Responsibilities 
  • Lead classes of various skill levels and ages
  • Plan activities and lessons for individuals within the class setting
  • Track the progress and growth of students under your care in customer tracking system
  • Attending department meeting and one-on-one meetings with Manager
  • Teamwork and cooperation with students, staff members, and parents
  • Participation and completion of on-going training requirements
Qualifications
  • Previous experience working as a teacher or in a fast-paced environment desired
  • Strong passion in gymnastics, fitness, and coaching
  • Excellent communication skills
  • High energy and enthusiastic 
  • Able to lift and move mats, equipment, and students during hands on spotting (approx. 15-75 lbs)
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Effective leadership and motivational skills for children of all ages
  • Reliable/Responsible/Punctual
  • Ability to work flexible hours including Evening and Weekends
  • Knowledge of basic USA Gymnastics progressions and skills desired
  • Have a positive coaching style
