Company Overview At D1 Training North Shore, we help athletes and individuals achieve fitness goals through elite-level coaching. Our strength and conditioning programs are designed for youth athletes (7+), adults, and teams to improve performance, build strength, and train like pros.

Job Summary The front desk role is key as it engages with members at every visit. You'll provide a welcoming introduction, answer customer service questions, track facility traffic, and support business operations.

We want everyone to feel like part of a fun, motivating family—not just another gym. You'll interact with many people daily, ensuring all receive exceptional service. This role supports the entire team and can lead to further opportunities within our organization.

Members should be excited to see you and be greeted by name. Bathrooms, supplies, and ancillary sales items should always be ready. 85%+ of your time will be at or near the front desk.

This part-time role (approx. 15-25 hours per week) requires availability for mornings approximately 5 am to 10 am.

Primary Responsibilities/Expectations

Front Desk Responsibilities:

Stand and greet everyone entering the facility.

Answer calls and customer inquiries.

Assist with check-ins and verify client status 10 minutes before each workout.

Confirm appointments and keep the front desk/lobby clean and organized.

Check voicemails, respond, or forward messages.

Gather content for social media.

Housekeeping Responsibilities:

Ensure bathrooms are clean and stocked.

Prep workout areas for the next workout/day.

Tidy up the turf and weight room.

Vacuum the weight room.

Restock fridge, snacks, and gear shelves.

Follow the open/closing checklist (lights, locks, TVs).

Sales Responsibilities:

Monitor and respond to social media inquiries using provided scripts.

Answer calls using the Telephone Inquiry Script.

Welcome free trials, verify waiver/profile status, and direct them to the appropriate staff.

Job Type: Part-time Pay: $18.00 per hour
