Job description

We're seeking a dedicated and skilled Awning Installer to join a construction team in Appleton on a full-time basis. In this role, you will be responsible for installing various types of awnings, ensuring they are securely and accurately mounted according to blueprint specifications and client requirements.
 
Primary Duties:
  • Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and schematics to determine installation requirements.
  • Measure dimensions accurately using tape measures and other tools to ensure proper fit of awnings.
  • Install awnings securely on various structures using hand tools, power tools, ladders, and scaffolding.
  • Manage the fabrication and assembly of awning components in accordance with technical specifications.
  • Perform related tasks such as gutter installation, trim carpentry, drywall finishing, or roofing as needed.
  • Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, building codes, and client expectations.
  • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues during installation or fabrication processes.
  • Use construction management software like Bluebeam for project documentation and communication.
  • Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris responsibly.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing client questions or concerns professionally during installations.
 
Schedule: Monday through Thursday from 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM.
 
Experience:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum of two years of construction site experience with exterior or structural installation experience being highly preferred
  • Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematic interpretation, and dimensional measurements
  • Strong communication skills for coordinating projects with clients and team members
  • A commitment to safety protocols and quality workmanship throughout all phases of installation
