A handyman can install gutter guards if they have the necessary skills, tools, and experience with roofing and gutter systems. However, for complex or high-risk installations, a licensed contractor or specialized gutter guard installer is recommended to ensure proper safety and effectiveness.

How much do gutter guard installers make?

Gutter guard installers typically earn between $15 and $25 per hour, with annual salaries ranging from approximately $30,000 to $50,000 depending on experience, location, and whether they are self-employed or work for a company. What are gutter guard installation services?

Gutter guard installation services involve fitting protective covers or screens over your home's gutters to prevent leaves, debris, and pests from clogging the system. Professional installers assess your home’s roofline, recommend compatible gutter guard types, and ensure a secure, effective fit. This service helps reduce maintenance, prevent water damage, and extend the lifespan of your gutters by keeping them clear and functioning properly.

Gutter Guard Installation professionals often encounter challenges such as working at heights, dealing with varying roof types, and adapting to unpredictable weather conditions. Safety is a top priority, so using appropriate fall protection equipment and following safety protocols is essential.
