Roofer (Full time, Year-round, Great Benefits) – Long-Term Historic Restoration and Facility MaintenanceJob Overview
  • Company: Integrity Construction Co Inc.
  • Salary/Pay Rate: $28 - $35 per hour (Based on experience).
  • Location: Onsite (Pittsburgh, PA).
  • Job/Employment Type: Full Time.
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday.
  • Project Scope: Year-Round Historic Complex Restoration.
  • Mandatory Licenses & Certifications: None Required.

The Opportunity

You will escape the instability of seasonal roofing cycles by joining a long-term restoration effort within a massive, historic building complex. This role offers unique job security, as you will systematically restore and modify a diverse portfolio of structures one at a time. Your craftsmanship will protect architectural history while providing you with a stable, year-round career path.

How You Will Make an Impact
  • Execute full-scale roof replacements and detailed repairs on aged commercial structures to ensure long-term weatherproofing.
  • Analyze complex historic drainage systems and integrate modern flashing and gutter solutions without compromising building aesthetics.
  • Install various roofing systems including EPDM, TPO, and traditional shingle or slate to match specific historic requirements.
  • Conduct comprehensive roof inspections across a massive complex to identify and mitigate leaks before they impact interior restoration work.
  • Collaborate with the carpentry and masonry teams to ensure structural roof deck integrity during phased building modifications.
  • Operate specialized equipment and safety rigging to navigate high-reaching and steep-slope areas of historic industrial facilities.
  • Manage inventory of roofing materials and specialized adhesives to ensure continuous progress on multi-year restoration phases.

Required Qualifications & Experience
  • Minimum of 5 to 7 years of professional experience in commercial or industrial roofing.
  • Proven proficiency in multiple roofing applications, including flat roofs, steep slopes, and historic materials.
  • Strong ability to diagnose difficult-to-find leaks in aging, complex roof systems.
  • Deep understanding of OSHA safety standards and specialized fall protection systems.
  • Physical ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions throughout the entire year.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience
  • Experience in historic preservation or working with antique roofing materials like slate or copper.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead small crews or manage specific sections of a large-scale project independently.
  • Knowledge of modern energy-efficient roofing upgrades and their integration into older structures.

Compensation & Benefits
  • Year-round, non-seasonal employment providing long-term financial stability.
  • Weekly pay cycle for consistent financial reliability.
  • Comprehensive paid time off including holidays, vacation, and sick leave.
  • Medical insurance coverage for health and wellness.
  • A stable work environment that eliminates the need for constant travel or seasonal layoffs.
