Job description

We are seeking a Gutter Technician to join our SK Insulation team! The Gutter Technician is a key member of the operations team, responsible for overseeing gutter repair/installation across commercial, multi-family, and residential insulation projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, repair, replace, and maintain residential and commercial gutter systems.
  • Measure, cut, assemble, and install gutters, downspouts, soffit, fascia, and trim to project specifications.
  • Inspect existing gutter systems to identify damage, drainage issues, and recommended repairs.
  • Ensure proper alignment, pitch, and secure attachment of gutter systems for optimal water drainage.
  • Perform gutter cleaning, maintenance, and debris removal as required.
  • Safely operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, lifts, and other installation equipment.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe worksite before, during, and after each project.
  • Follow company quality standards, manufacturer specifications, and safety procedures.
  • Communicate professionally with customers, supervisors, and team members throughout each project.
  • Load, unload, and transport materials and equipment to and from job sites.
  • Assist with material inventory and ensure proper care of company tools and equipment.
  • Complete work efficiently while maintaining high-quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
  • Previous experience installing, repairing, or maintaining gutter systems preferred.
  • Experience with seamless gutter systems, soffit, fascia, or exterior carpentry is a plus.
  • Ability to safely work at heights using ladders, scaffolding, and aerial equipment.
  • Proficiency using hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment.
  • Basic construction, carpentry, or exterior remodeling experience preferred.
  • Ability to accurately read measurements and follow installation specifications.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality workmanship.
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record preferred.
  • Ability to lift 50–75 pounds and perform physically demanding work in various weather conditions.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
  • OSHA safety knowledge or willingness to follow company safety procedures.
