Job description

Duties As a COMPOSITE FABRICATOR LEADER -Title 32, WL-4352-10, you will serve as a working leader of three or more Composite Fabricators, WG-4352-10. Provides technical guidance and specialized team leadership to lower-grade employees who are assigned to the shop that perform maintenance on Low Observable (LO)/low signature aircraft (B-2/F-22/F-35). Requirements Conditions of employment MILITARY REQUIREMENTS : Compatible military grade and assignment required prior to the effective date of placement. This is an excepted service position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the employing state's National Guard. Applicants who are not currently a member of the National Guard must be eligible for immediate membership. If you are not sure you are eligible for military membership, please contact a National Guard recruiter prior to applying for this position. Military Grades: E-6 through E-7 Conditions of Employment: * Federal employment suitability as determined by a background investigation. * May be required to successfully complete a probationary period. * Must be able to obtain and maintain the appropriate security clearance of the position. * This position is covered by the Domestic Violence Misdemeanor Amendment (30 Sep 96) of the Gun Control Act (Lautenberg Amendment) of 1968. An individual convicted of a qualifying crime of domestic violence may not perform the duties of this position. * Ability to establish effective professional working relationships with coworkers and customers, contributing to a cooperative working environment and successful accomplishment of the mission. * May occasionally be required to work other than normal duty hours; overtime may be required. * The duties and responsibilities of your job may significantly impact the environment. You are responsible to maintain awareness of your environmental responsibilities as dictated by legal and regulatory requirements, your organization, and its changing mission. * Must be able to consistently use required PPE and safety equipment. Qualifications GENERAL EXPERIENCE : Experience which demonstrates journeyman level knowledge of the work to be performed. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE : To qualify at the WL-4352-10 level, in addition to the journeyman level knowledge, you must have at least 24 months of specialized experience with demonstrates the ability to plan, and lead the work of others in fields directly related to the repair function of this occupational series. Must have the ability to perform administrative functions; to read and interpret a variety of technical publications used in the repair of supported equipment. The ability to provide guidance to others in work related directly to this occupational series. Additional information If you are a male applicant who was born after 12/31/1959 and are required to register under the Military Selective Service Act, the Defense Authorization Act of 1986 requires that you be registered or you are not eligible for appointment in this agency ( ). The following supporting documentation is optional to submit with your application: 1. Record Review RIP (NOT point credit summary or Career Data Brief) complete and current. This is used to verify AFSCs, aptitude scores, position status, time in service, time in grade, etc. This can be pulled from vMPF. 2. Current Fitness Report.
