Northrop Grumman is seeking a Manufacturing Technician 2 for our location in Mesa, AZ that will perform functions associated with all manufacturing operations, including working with engineers in setup and calibration tasks, and conducting rework and quality testing. Operating industrial equipment like cranes and forklifts, and using precision measuring equipment to gauge correct positioning during bonding operations. Maintaining cleanliness of work areas, participating in team activities to enhance safety, quality, cost, and scheduling, and following established procedures.
Responsibilities

• Assembly operations of gun systems in a team or individual environment.

• Perform manufacturing assembly of subassemblies and top-level assemblies for gun systems.

• Follow detailed operating procedures and collect/record data as necessary.

• Ability to multi-task.

• Ability to interpret blueprints.

• Ability to follow detailed operating procedures and work instructions.

• High attention to detail.

Basic Qualifications for Manufacturing Technician 2

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.

• 2 years of experience working on manufacturing assemblies.

• Must be able to lift, push, pull and carry 40 lbs.

• Must be a US Citizen

• "As a responsible party to ATF, obtain coverage under Safe Explosive Act as employee possessor/responsible person upon starting."
