Job description

Summary

Sales Associates have firearm experience and are preferred to have firearm retail selling experience. Summary of job tasks include selling firearms, shooting accessories, and providing superior customer service to Williams Gun Sight’s retail customers.

Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:

  • Selling firearms and related accessories.
  • Able to provide superior customer service to all customers on the retail floor and/or over the phone.
  • Providing knowledgeable safe firearm handling techniques and product information to customers purchasing firearms.
  • Daily stocking and merchandising of shelves and firearm cabinets.
  • Daily/weekly clean-up of retail floor, displays, bathrooms, and storage areas.
  • Use of computer to track inventory for potential sales to retail customers.
  • Ability to take direction for daily tasks or projects related to Williams retail department from upper management.

Requirements/Skills

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Highly recommended to have any type of retail sales experience within the last 5 years
  • Firearm and firearm safety experience from either personal or prior professional use required
  • Basic computer knowledge and skills required
  • Ability to work weekends required

Physical Demands

  • Employee must possess the physical requirements to perform activates listed above.
  • Employee must be physically able to work on their feet for an 8- or 10-hour shift while selling retail products.
  • Employee must be able to lift up to 25 lbs comfortably for daily tasks.
  • Must be 18 years old and be able to successfully pass a background check to apply for this position.
