Job description

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Parts Puller works in warehouses where they receive, unpack, arrange and store goods, and gather, pack, prepare and load goods for dispatching. Warehouse Workers check stock for damage and wear, report faults and discrepancies to relevant parties, and mark and label stock.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Deliver a variety of materials to different locations and through different routes; communicate any
    obstacles or variances in planned routes to your supervisor
  •  Prepare, Load, and unload the delivery vehicle
  • Maintain accurate work records, logs and submit documentation
  • Obey traffic laws and regulations in accordance to the Department of Transportation
  • A desire/willingness to work variable hours, as the work requires
  • Work in a safe manner and follows all safety policies while performing job duties
  • Maintain truck and tools are in working order

Requirements:
 

  • Physically qualified to drive a commercial motor vehicle (CMV)-including a Standard
    Transmission -NO CDL REQUIRED!
  • Drug screen Test/DOT physical
  • Clean driving record (2 years)
  • Subject to background check
  • Must be willing to travel overnight ( one or two nights a week) 
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and attention to detail 
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to lift 75 lbs without accommodations
  • Able to use construction equipment (ex. Circular saw & Nail gun)
  • Ability to work unsupervised
