The Kinetic Group is a world leader in the design, manufacturing, and distribution of small caliber ammunition under the iconic brands B&P, CCI, Federal Premium, Fiocchi, HEVI-Shot, Remington and Speer. We have domestic ammunition manufacturing facilities in Minnesota, Idaho, Arkansas, and Missouri, and service law enforcement, government agencies and sporting enthusiasts throughout the world. Today, The Kinetic Group is a part of the Ammo+ division of The Czechoslovak Group (CSG), which holds a diverse portfolio of companies in the defense, security, automotive, aerospace and rail industries.

The Gun Club Sales Representativewill play a key role in expanding The Kinetic Group's presence across gun clubs, shooting ranges, and competitive shooting venues nationwide. This role is ideal for someone with strong knowledge and hands-on experience with shotgun shooting and target load ammunitionwho is eager to grow into a customer-facing sales career.

Working closely with the local and national sales teams, this role will help open new gun club accounts while supporting and growing existing customers. The position blends relationship building, product expertise, event presence, and sales execution, with training and mentorship provided on the formal sales process.

This position reports to the Director of Sales - Gun Clubsand offers the flexibility to work from a home office.

What you'll do:

  • Build and develop relationships with gun clubs, shooting ranges, and competitive shooting organizationsnationwide.

  • Leverage strong shotgun and target load ammunition knowledgeto educate customers, influence purchase decisions, and support program growth.

  • Seek out and help onboard new gun club customers, partnering with internal sales teams to set up accounts, place orders, and establish long-term relationships.

  • Support existing gun club customers by assisting with:

    • Product recommendations

    • Order placement and replenishment

    • Forecasting seasonal and annual ammunition needs

  • Attend, staff, and support major shooting competitions, events, and industry gatheringsto interface directly with shooters, coaches, club managers, and consumers.

  • Represent The Kinetic Group brands with professionalism and authenticity, serving as a trusted resource within the shotgun shooting community.

  • Assist with brand awareness, merchandising, and promotional programsat elite gun clubs, outfitter lodges, and indoor/outdoor ranges.

  • Monitor category performance and customer feedback to identify growth opportunities.

  • Collaborate with internal teams (sales operations, marketing, supply chain) to ensure customer needs are met.

  • Learn and apply sales fundamentals, including forecasting, account planning, and territory management-with support from leadership.

Experience you bring:

Required / Highly Desired

  • Strong hands-on experience with shotgun shooting, clay target sports (trap, skeet, sporting clays), or competitive shotgun environments.

  • Deep familiarity with shotgun target load ammunition, its performance characteristics, and usage across shooting disciplines.

  • Active involvement in the shooting sports community(competitive athlete, coach, range staff, club involvement, or similar).

  • Comfort engaging with customers, shooters, and club personnel in person at ranges and events.

  • Willingness to learn and grow into a sales-focused role with structured training.

You have:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred; experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

  • Strong communication skills and professional presence.

  • High level of integrity, self-motivation, and accountability.

  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; CRM experience a plus.

  • Ability to travel up to 70%, including weekends for competitions and events.

You might also have:

  • Prior sales experience is helpful but not required.

  • Experience in customer service, coaching, event support, retail sporting goods, or brand representation is acceptable in lieu of sales.

  • Interest in building a long-term career in outside/field sales.

Work Environment:

Employee work assignments may include tasks working with and/or exposure to potentially hazardous areas, including flammables and explosives. Safety training is provided to all employees to ensure compliance with company and federal regulations.

Pay Range:

Annual Salary: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00

The actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on variables including experience, geographic location, education, and skills/achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.
