Our Hybrid Confections facility is currently looking to add new members to our Gummy Line. We are looking for someone who has a positive attitude, feels comfortable with repetitive tasks and work well in a team environment. ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

A Gummy Line employee at Hybrid Confections is responsible for taking the gummies from their production stage to its finished product stage. The position involves moving trays from depositor to the cooling rooms, from cooling rooms to the de-oiler, from the de-oiler to the sander, from the sander to packing area, then weighing, sealing, and boxing bulk bags of gummies, and palletizing the boxes. Auxiliary responsibilities include practicing GMP's and maintaining area cleanliness.


Other duties to support the full range of activities of the company may include processing shipping labels, light maintenance duties, and other duties as assigned.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:

  1. Gummy Line Process includes ensuring quality of the gummies throughout the entire process with pre-established guidelines. Includes but not limited to raw material quality, gummy quality, piece weights, piece dimensions, sensory and visual quality
  2. Physically moving trays through the entire process
  3. Helping the operator run the cooling rooms, de-molder, de-oiler, and sanding machines.
  4. Sealing of product to include trouble- shooting sealer machine
  5. Responsible for palletizing gummies as directed
  6. Label making on computerized label system
  7. Light janitorial duties as assigned
  8. Shared responsibility and participation in GMPs
  9. Shared responsibility of maintaining HACCP compliance
  10. Assist other departments as needed


Requirements

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Minimum behavioral requirements: must work well within a team environment; must maintain a positive attitude on the job, must arrive at work station as scheduled, stay at work station as assigned and attend work as scheduled.
  2. Minimum Physical requirements: stand for the majority of the day, use repeated wrist motions without distress, high level of manual dexterity required; lift and carry up to 35 lbs; bend, stoop, climb ladders and kneel; push approximately 500 lbs on carts; follow directions and safety procedures;
  3. Tools, Equipment and Machinery used: cooling rooms, de-molder, de-oiler, sander, scales, laser, box cutter, and pallet jack.
  4. Risk of Assault or Injury: Moderate; must follow safety procedures
